| Itinerary Highlights: |
Day 1
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to your lodging at
the 4* hotel where after some time to rest you will be
offered a Welcoming drink and presentation of the Itinerary
for the next days.
Evening Dinner at Sucre Restaurant, specializing
in meats cooked "al spiedo" -on the spit.
Days 2
Today we will head to Estancia Villa Maria on the Pampa
to enjoy a: "Fiesta Gaucha", where we will enjoy
the food and an exhibition of the skills of the gauchos.
The Pampas plains are amongst the richest areas in Argentina.
They have the magic of wide-open spaces with an unlimited
horizon, and they are the land of the gauchos, traditional
Argentine country men.
Days 3
We will explore this morning some of the most unique areas
of Buenos Aires:the Plaza de Mayo Square area.
San Telmo, traditional neighborhood where Tango performances
can be seen in many bars and restaurants.
La Boca colorful neighborhood, which was, seat of immigrants
- mainly Italians - and now home of some artists.
Palermo, an area that combines its architecture and history
with entertainment and amusement in its green spaces.
La Recoleta, an exclusive and elegant neighborhood where
its famous cementery is found.
Lunch and Transfer to the airport for flight to
Mendoza.
On arrival, we will head on to the Uco Valley,
to our accomodation at Posada Salentein,100 km south
from Mendoza city where we will enjoy dinner based on
regional cuisine. Days 4
We start exploring the wineries of this area known as
the world capital of Malbec grape.Salentein winery is
our first visit today with its modern installations with
the Andes in the background. We can also enjoy the works
of local artists in the Killka art center.
We
will taste four
of the wines of Andeluna Cellars, most notably
the Winemaker’s Selection Malbec and the Reserve Malbec,
made from Argentina’s signature grape before
enjoying lunch deliciously authentic Argentine
cuisine created in their restaurant-style kitchens.
Days 5
Visit
to " Museo del Vino",
located
inside of Bodega La Rural founded in 1885. The museum
displays machinery, carriages, presses and other elements
that contributed to the Mendoza wine industry. It has
become the most important wine museum in the Americas.
Visit
to Almacen del Sur: delicatessen factory, located
at the core of
farm lands. Fruits of uniform size, ripeness,
colour and consistency are cultivated with great care
and dedication by highly skilled workers with tradition
in agricultural work. We will enjoy
here a creative five-course menu that reflects the season,
combined with a fine selection of Mendoza wines.
In
the afternoon we will arrive in Mendoza city where after
checking in at your hotel you will be offered an orientation
tour of the city centre.
Day 6
This morning we will visit
Zuccardi Winery. Founded in 1963 by Alberto Zuccardi,
father of the current Director, José Alberto Zuccardi,
who shares his father's love of innovation and has experimented
with numerous grape varieties, having become probablely
Mendoza's most internationally known brand.
Lunch
at "Cavas de Cano " traditional
picada criolla", a great selection of dishes to be
eaten informally, combining the rich variety of flavours
displayed.
In
the afternoon
we will stop at
Ayllu Arte Popular
which offers a fine selection of South American
handcrafts before returning to the hotel. Day 7
Transfer to the airport for early morning
flight to Buenos Aires.
On
arrival we will go to "Espacio Dolly" , the
private restaurant of the famous chef, TV presenter and
cooking instructor
Dolly Irigoyen, where we will be offered a Cooking
workshop before lunch there.
After
checking in at our hotel you will have some time before
in the evening enjoying
the pleasures of Tango during our farewell dinner
(Note: This is our oficial farewell
dinner even though our tour is not complete. Our last
day is full and our departure morning will come very early.
The last night is yours to pack). Day 8
An outing on the coastal train will take us to Tigre
on the Rio de Plata, a majestic estuary between Argentina
and Uruguay that we will cruise along on a catamaran boat.
After lunch, the afternoon will be free to enjoy any of
the many museums of the city or for picking up last minute
gifts.
Day 9
Transfer to Buenos Aires Eceiza Airport and Departure.

that are called: "Los Sarmientos" and

Kilka, a cultural place that includes an art gallery,
exhibitions, a restaurant an wineshop. Other alternatives
are: joining a guided tour to Salentein winery, horse-riding
in Finca San Pablo which is 6 km from the hotel, going
for a ride in a bike or going for a walk in the vineyards.
