Day 1 

Arrival to  Bilbao Airport and transfer to Dinastía Vivanco Wine Museum where we can enjoy a complete and interesting introduction of the different aspects involved in the art of wine making.
After sampling a glass of their wine it is time to taste the local cuisine at the restaurant of the Museum. 
After check in at the Hotel we will do a nice visit of the village of Laguardia  before having a paired dinner at the restaurant of the hotel.


Day 2 
Visit to the prestigious Lopez de Heredia winery, with a centenary tradition of wine making, preserved to the present day with great pride by the heirs of the founder and pioneer of wine making in the region, 
Rafael López de Heredia y Landeta. We will visit the town of Haro, the wine capital of Rioja, before enjoying lunch based on local products. T
his afternoon at Marques de Riscal, we will see how this winery has evolved over three centuries to become a reference for the future of wine tourism by the hand of Frank Gehry.


Day 3

We will visit Bodegas Ontañon which is a true BODEGA-MUSEUM in which the world of wine mingles with the love of art. Recognised and winners of the prestigious award, the "Best of wine tourism 2003" in the "Art and Culture" category, a prize created by the World Network of Great Wine Capitals. Through the paintings and sculptures of the Riojan artist Miguel Ángel Sainz (1955-2002), the visitor is submerged in the magical and mystical world of mythology and winemaking. 

Hence, during the tour, you will find different works of art and allegorical stained glass which recall the darkness and colours of medieval cathedrals, those same cathedrals which pilgrims along the route to Compostela – or “Campus Stellae” – were able to visit. We will have lunch in Pamplona after a short walk through the streets where the famous running of the bulls takes place. 

In the afternoon we will arrive in San Sebastian with its charming bay and renown   gastronomy   not only   due   to   the   many Michelin star restaurants of the area but  also  in  its more  popular  expression such  as  in  its  “pintxos”, small delicacies on a piece of   bread   that   can   be sampled in almost every bar of this beautiful city.


Day 4 
In the morning we will introduce you to the local wine: Txakoli de Getaria. We will visit and sample the produce of Txomin Etxaniz, located in the heart of Getaria, has maintained its dedication to cultivating vines and making txakoli for generations. Back in 1649, the Gipuzkoa Protocol Archives mention Domingo de Etxaniz, linked to growing vines in Getaria. Later he led the modernisation, recognition and creation of the Denomination of origin Getariako Txakolina in 1989. 
We will visit the Eduardo Chillida Museum located in a remarkable 17 century traditional Basque farmhouse and in its surrounding park before taking you back to San Sebastian where you will have free time in the afternoon before having diner at one of the private local gastronomy clubs where members cook and share food, wine and good time.


Day 5 
In the morning we will depart to the town of Gernika where we will visit the Assembly House of Bizkaia, home of the sacred oak tree that symbolizes the traditions and heritage of all the Basque people. After having visited Bodegas Itsasmendi, producers of some of the finest whites you can taste in this area.We will enjoy a lunch based on the best of the sea and land of this fertile and bountiful area. 
Bilbao with its seven hundreds years producing a unique blending of tradition and innovation awaits us at the end of the day, where we will take a walking tour through its lively streets after checking in at your hotel.



Day 6 
The Guggenheim Bilbao Museum will be our first visit this morning. The unique building designed by Frank Gehry in which he combines titanium, stone and glass in a way that make of this museum a work of art in itself. We will drive to the coast in order to visit the world heritage site of the oldest transporter bridge in the world from which we will have a wonderful view over the bay of Bilbao. 
The group will be offered their farewell dinner at one of the finest local restaurants after free time in the afternoon.


Day 7 
Transfer to Bilbao Airport.
